In today’s stressful world people are suffering in spirit, mind and body. When Jesus came among us,
He brought a vital ministry of healing. But that ministry didn’t disappear when He ascended back into
heaven. His Spirit remained with us and the healing He brings is very much available to us today. In
short, Jesus wants to personally heal each one of us.
Matthew 9: 35-36
35Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching
the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36When he saw the
crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep
without a shepherd.
We still are like the lost sheep without a shepherd, but even now Christ is calling us to come to Him
and to become whole. This healing message is just as relevant today as it was in the time of Christ.
As such, we are pleased to share that a group of committed Christians and churches are opening
Christ Healing Center, a healing ministry centered here in San Antonio. Our vision is to see people
from all over the city come to wholeness, peace, and well being. The mission of the center is:
To provide a safe place for people to receive God’s healing through Jesus Christ in Spirit, Mind and
Body.
San Antonio has a special place in the heart of God. There is a wonderful move of God’s Spirit
underway here to bring Christians together to access the healing that is readily available through
Jesus Christ.
Christ Healing Center is Christ-centered, Biblically-based and evangelistic. It is a place where
people from any walk of life can come to find the compassionate healing love of Jesus Christ. The
center will hold weekly healing services and regular healing events, as well as scheduling individual
appointments for those that wish to receive healing prayer.
We will provide trained, lay-driven prayer teams to pray and minister to those who are ill, in pain, fear
or despair. These teams will be trained in prayer skills, excellence, integrity and accountability to
church leadership. The center will also become a place for training clergy and laity in order to help
them effectively administer healing and pastoral care in their churches.
Christ Healing Center seeks to be a bridge between the people of the city and the Christian
Community, a resource for unity in God’s Church and a training center to bring the healing ministry
back into churches.
We anticipate that many will come that may have no church home. We will work with these
individuals to make sure they find a place in the community of Christians by referring them to local
congregations that partner with the center.
As this center comes to life we request your support. More critically, we invite you to consider
praying for us and for our work. As you feel led, we welcome you to join upcoming training sessions
and volunteer with our intercessory prayer teams.
Also, we welcome financial contributions to the center in order to help us open the doors of Christ’s
compassion to those hurting in the city. The center is a missionary service to those that need the
healing touch of our Lord, and as such we need the support faithful Christians.
Finally, we open our arms to you for prayer. If you, or your family, struggle with pain in spirit, mind or
body, we would be privileged to pray with you.
We believe that with your help, this center of healing will become a vibrant part of the work of God in
San Antonio.
